CONTEXT
I worked on the project as a Level Designer, creating and integrating gameplay content across various environments based on the game’s design vision. The team operated remotely and gathered several times a year to strengthen collaboration and align development efforts. At the time, independent game development was still in its early days.
Missions:
→ Designed the first three levels of Ayal, including layouts, puzzles, combat encounters, and gameplay challenges.
→ Worked with a heightmap-based terrain generation system to build and shape 3D environments.
→ Developed content using the proprietary Ayal Engine.
